Online Glasses Shopping Horror: 2.5 Hours Wasted & Broken Prescription Input! 😡
My experience shopping for glasses online was truly terrible, and I want to share it as a warning. The website was so messed up; it took me two and a half hours just to purchase two pairs of glasses. I was completely unable to type in my prescription and save it to continue, forcing me to wait for an email to re-enter information I had already provided. I'm not sure I will ever attempt to order glasses from glasses USA ever again, as the entire process was so very frustrating and certainly a waste of my time. I felt compelled to leave this review and speak to customer service, hoping to avoid further delays or issues with my order.
Customer: I am absolutely frustrated with your website! It took me 2-1/2 hours just to try and buy glasses, and I couldn't even input my prescription properly. Now I have to wait for an email to type it in again? This is ridiculous! CS Rep: I sincerely apologize for the difficulty you experienced with our website, especially with entering your prescription. That sounds incredibly frustrating, and I understand your annoyance with having to re-enter information. Customer: Annoyed is an understatement! I wasted so much time. Can you just get this sorted out for me now, or am I really going to have to do all that work again? CS Rep: I completely understand. Let me help you with this directly. I can either guide you through the process over the phone, or if you prefer, I can ensure that the email you receive has a straightforward way for you to submit your prescription without further hassle. Which would you prefer? Customer: Just make sure this process actually works this time. I don't want to waste another minute on this "silly web site."
