Buyer Beware: A Glitchy Website and Customer Service Nightmare 😠


I’m writing this as a warning about my experience with GlassesUSA. I tried to use a BOGO promo, but their glitchy website didn't apply it. After a frustrating attempt to get it fixed, I realized this company is simply Dishonest, doesn't honor promos. Makes it impossible to collect offer when the site is full of glitches. No customer Service 24 hours, no agent. Unprofessional. Their proposed "solution" was so absurd it prompted me to contact their customer service, hoping for a shred of common sense.

Customer: Hi, I was charged for two pairs of glasses when I used the BOGO promo. Your site glitched. I was told I have to return my order and re-purchase it. That's ridiculous.

CS Rep: I understand your frustration and I do see the BOGO promotion was not applied. I apologize for the system error. Unfortunately, the only way to correct this is to return the order for a full refund and then place a new one.

Customer: So you admit it's your website's fault, but I have to do all the work? Why can't you just credit my card for the second pair? It's the simple solution. My prescription and style are correct.

CS Rep: I'm sorry, but our system does not allow for partial refunds to apply a promotion after the order has been processed. The return and reorder process is the only solution I can offer.

Customer: That is completely unprofessional. You're making me go through hoops to fix your mistake. I want this resolved without me having to return perfectly good glasses.

CS Rep: I truly apologize for the inconvenience, ma'am. I have documented your feedback, but the policy stands. I can help you initiate the return process now.
